As a Site Operations Manager, Data Center Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our data centers. This includes managing technical teams, hardware operations, and third-party vendors to ensure operability, maintainability, and reliability.
You will partner with the Google Data Center development team to develop strategies that keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at the site. You will also motivate efforts to test, validate, and certify new processes and procedures for critical equipment operation in your data center domain.
In this role, you will drive efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and ensure response to any excursions. You will lead the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at the site, along with motivating site-level development of programs and initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need 7 years of experience in a Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical, controls, water chemistry, generators, mechanical, or other similar technical domain, and 3 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment.
