We are seeking a skilled Roofing Crew Member to join our team at Proteck Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, erecting scaffolding, and removing debris.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and under pressure. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and will be expected to work 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a dental plan and health care plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and catwalks
  • Removing debris and rubble at construction sites
  • Assisting with the installation of built-up roofing systems

Requirements:

  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
