Are you a network expert looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and support complex network solutions at an enterprise scale.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to contribute to overall solutions.
  • Provide internal consulting services on assigned infrastructure and suggest viable solutions to high-complexity system problems.
  • Work on complex problem-solving in time-sensitive situations to reduce system downtime and customer impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, including software-defined Data Centre solutions like Cisco ACI and VMWare NSX.
  • Contribute to the development of the network roadmap and adoption within a large-scale enterprise network.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Public Cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and IBM SoftLayer.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
  • At least 6+ years of progressive hands-on technical working experience in designing, deploying, and supporting various network technologies at an enterprise scale.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers & Switches, including Cisco Nexus N9K/N7K/N5K/N2K Solutions, Cisco Integrated Services Routers (ISR), and Cisco Catalyst N9K.
  • Hands-on experience with firewall technologies like Fortigate/Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Security/VPN and F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic ManagerTM (LTM) / Global Traffic ManagerTM (GTM).
  • Hands-on experience with Infoblox NIOS products, including DDI - DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM).
  • Hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN) technologies like Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACITM), VMware NSX, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with managing Public Cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Wired and Wireless 802.1x Network Authentication using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Hands-on experience with network automation scripting from Python, REST API endpoint.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking Technology, or a related field.
