Master Roofer

Semple Gooder Roofing Corporation is seeking a skilled Master Roofer to join our team. As a leading provider of roofing services in the industry, we require an experienced professional to lead our commercial and industrial roofing projects.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Roofer to install, repair, and maintain various types of roofs including metal, sheet metal flashings, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects including commercial and industrial buildings, working at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially dangerous environments. A strong emphasis will be placed on teamwork, reliability, and dependability.

• Instruct apprentices on roofing techniques and best practices
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Install sheet metal flashings
• Maintain and repair existing roofs to ensure structural integrity and prevent water damage

• Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing, preferably with a commercial or industrial focus
• Excellent knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
• Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially dangerous environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependability, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines

• Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
• As per collective agreement

• Hours: 37.5 to 44 hours per week
