About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.

You will also be operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse. Additionally, you will empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.

Your tasks will also include contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, performing minor repairs on appliances, and performing safety and security checks.

You will supervise other workers and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Finally, you will clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene within our facilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
