Insurance Advisor Opportunity

Aviva Canada is seeking a skilled Insurance Advisor to join our team in the Direct to Consumer Distribution channel. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing insurance solutions to new and existing customers, helping them navigate their insurance needs and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for underwriting personal lines policies, quoting and selling Home and Auto insurance policies, and assisting customers with their insurance needs.

We are looking for a sales-oriented and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for insurance and a desire to make a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Quote and sell Home and Auto insurance policies
  • Assist new customers with their insurance needs
  • Service existing customers by updating their policies and providing new products as required
  • Drive strong customer retention through exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on underwriting and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
  • College Diploma or University Degree
  • Sales and customer service experience (mandatory)
  • OTL licensed or RIBO licensed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to match products to customer needs
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
