About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Cochrane Nissan. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex problems with automotive systems and components.
  • Inspect and Test Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and confirm findings with your supervisor to determine the best course of action.
  • Communicate with Customers: Discuss work with customers and provide clear explanations of the repair process and estimated costs.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure that your workspace is clean and safe, and that all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Work with a Team: Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
Work Environment
