Job Summary:

The Insurance Solutions Specialist will work closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for clients. This includes collaborating with the account management team and client to ensure complete, timely, and highly differentiated submissions. Additionally, the specialist will develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and local NFP account management teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for clients in collaboration with Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with the account management team and client to ensure complete, timely, and highly differentiated submissions.
  • Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and local NFP account management teams.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy information in NFP's Epic agency management system.

Requirements:

  • A provincial P&C License is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key team member and mentor to junior team members.
  • Proven technical competency and creativity demonstrating excellence in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutions.
  • Confident, poised, and interactive when client-facing, communicating effectively and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
