Job Title: Glass Forming Machine Operator

Vitrum Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Forming Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating glass forming machines to produce high-quality glass products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate glass forming machines to produce glass products, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes.
  • Set up and adjust glass forming machines, including automatic glass feeding, flowing, and forming machines.
  • Monitor and control the glass forming process, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Inspect glass products for quality and accuracy, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a glass manufacturing or production environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with production team members.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
