We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Child and Youth Care Workers in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In this role, you'll be pivotal in a group home setting, offering specialized care to children and youth with complex behavioural needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with youth through mentorship, role modelling, and positive reinforcement
  • Supervise children/youth at home and in the community
  • Complete and maintain documentation of daily activities and observations
  • Participate in the Care Team through the ongoing development of care plans and programs
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Direct experience working with youth with complex behavioural and mental health needs
  • Knowledge of Child and Youth Care work and best practices
  • Trauma Informed Care understanding and proven experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong technology and computer skills
