Job Description:
As a Registered Practical Nurse in our surgical program, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgery. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
You will work closely with our interprofessional team to deliver patient-centered care, using your critical thinking skills to assess and respond to the unique needs of each patient. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will also play a key role in building trust and rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
- Certification: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of current (within 2 years) surgical experience
You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
