QC/QA Foreman Lab Technician

Job Summary
The Foreman Laboratory Technician - Quality Control and Assurance is a key member of the Holcim team, responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality of our products, including hot mix asphalt and aggregate testing.
- Prepare and sample hot mix asphalt, complete and report Marshall Analysis tests, and prepare and test hot mix asphalt mix designs.
- Perform aggregate testing, including grading and durability testing.
- Accurately document results and maintain paperwork and computer databases.
- Collate test results and input data into files and databases, ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System.
- Maintain calibration files and perform maintenance and servicing on laboratory equipment and processes.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Holcim's safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Quality Control and Assurance Supervisor and Operations Manager in their duties.
Requirements
- Polytechnic or university graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Work experience in laboratory or field testing of hot mix asphalt or aggregate is required.
- This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle and lift heavy materials.
