About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation or Clinical Manager- Branch level. This role involves assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring physiotherapy intervention, in accordance with professional standards.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assess clients, establish, and ongoing evaluate and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
- Maintain current and accurate clinical records according to standards set by College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team as needed.
- Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provide education regarding treatment strategies as needed.
- Observe the performance of those assisting in the physiotherapy program and provide guidance as necessary.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
- Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discuss same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's Degree or recognized equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- Registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Preference of three years providing physiotherapy services.
- Experience with in-home assessments and treatments.
- Knowledge of auto insurance and the legal system is an asset, particularly medical/legal report writing.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
