We are seeking a Senior Associate to support the sales team in Vancouver or Toronto, playing a key role in client relationship development and strengthening ties with sophisticated investors and prospects.

Main Responsibilities include:
  • Client Support – Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.
  • RFP & Due Diligence Oversight – Lead RFP, DDQ, and other due diligence processes to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client needs.
  • Sales Material Customization – Collaborate with the sales team to refine and tailor pitchbooks, investment proposals, and other marketing materials for institutional prospects.
  • Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate records of prospects and client interactions, sales pipeline updates, and engagement metrics within the CRM system.
  • Meeting Preparation & Execution – Assist senior sales team members in preparing for client meetings, drafting briefing materials, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
  • Industry Representation – Attend industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events to enhance Pender's presence and maintain relationships with institutional investors.
  • Internal Coordination – Collaborate with portfolio managers, product specialists, and marketing teams to ensure accurate communication of investment strategies.
  • Market Analysis – Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide insights supporting business development efforts.
  • Client Reporting – Assist in the preparation and delivery of client reports, investment performance updates, and other communication materials.
