**Job Description:**

As the GTA BIM Lead, you will represent our Business Centre, spearheading the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) best practices. Your role is crucial for process improvement, user support, training, and assisting Practice/Technical leadership and project management in strategic initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Actively lead in monthly Digital Practice Meetings, representing local architectural and engineering practice needs.
  • Serve as a liaison for BIM-related matters both internally and externally.
  • Lead and influence the implementation of interdisciplinary standards and improvements in digital project delivery.
  • Provide guidance to project teams on project scope (BIM related), approach, setup, delivery, including the development and implementation of Digital Project Execution Plans.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of templates, families, and other digital content to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular reviews of projects to ensure quality and adherence to the Company standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend new BIM-related technologies.
  • Lead regular end-user support and training sessions.

**Qualifications:**

  • Demonstrated success in large and complex project delivery, particularly in AE design projects and APD deliveries.
  • Deep understanding of Buildings systems design, layout, and coordination.
  • Expertise in modeling, drafting, visualization software, including the Autodesk Buildings Suite and associated plug-ins.
  • Strong grasp of design coordination/clash detection processes and technologies.
