Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our Corporate Services team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing applications as well as delivering new, innovative solutions that meet the company's needs. Your insights and experience will make an impact in bringing the best digital connections and next generation services to Canadians.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Participate in the planning and design of new software applications
- Apply UX best practices to ensure high-quality employee experience of developed tools
- Document conceptual solutions and produce cost estimates
- Develop intranet applications
- Support existing applications

- Bachelor's or college degree in computer science or management information systems
- Strong analytical skills (ability to quickly determine the problem space and organize it into simple components through data mining, statistical analysis and quantitative analysis)
- Databases (SQL Server 2019)
- Design and modelling of medium-complexity databases
- Writing (intermediate level) stored procedures and functions for Microsoft SQL Server

- Experience with Agile methodology practices
- Strong technical writing skills (ability to write clearly and concisely)
- Proven troubleshooting skills (ability to quickly identify and resolve problems)

Work Arrangement:
Work hours are Mondays to Fridays, 37.5 hours/week. A hybrid work model is offered, with three days per week in-office. Flexible work start and finish times are available.
