Job Title: Architectural TechnologistWe are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our projects, working closely with our architects and engineers to ensure that our designs are technically sound and meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Development: Assist in the design development of projects, including the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure that our designs meet the required standards.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of construction projects, including monitoring and inspecting work to ensure that it meets our quality standards.
- Specifications: Write specifications for materials and equipment to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
- Area of Work Experience: Design, with a focus on institutional construction and residential construction.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, organized, and a team player.
