The Granite Shoppe is a leading provider of premium countertops and installation services. We are seeking an experienced Skilled Countertop Installation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience, for this full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing exterior and interior prefabricated products, including countertops, sinks, and faucets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Skilled Countertop Installation Specialist, you will:

  • Install exterior and interior prefabricated products, including countertops, sinks, and faucets;
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements;
  • Determine layout and installation procedures;
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations;
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies;
  • Loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment;
  • Erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms;
  • Utilizing hand and power tools;
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications;
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
  • 2 years of experience in a related field;
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (over 45 kg/100 lbs);
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required;
  • Punctuality, client focus, and organizational skills are essential.
