Job Description: We are seeking a talented Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team at BC Cancer. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of new treatments for lymphoma and myeloma.

About the Position

  • This is a permanent full-time position at the Abbotsford Centre.
  • You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical oncology services to patients with lymphoma and myeloma.
  • Conduct clinical trials and research studies to improve cancer treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical oncology and hematological malignancies.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine.
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology or Hematology.
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Commitment to upholding the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
