CompensationThe successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $24.00-$25.00 per hour, with additional benefits including overtime pay.
Responsibilities and Duties- Receive customer samples, verify information, and enter data into our laboratory information management system.
- Perform sample preparation and testing using molecular, immunoassay, and microbial enumeration methods, adhering to established procedures.
- Ensure all analytical results are of high accuracy, quality, and generated in a timely manner.
- Laboratory reporting and quality control.
- Prepare media and reagents as required.
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and laboratory safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A university degree or technical diploma in microbiology, biotechnology, genetics, or a related science is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.
