Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team at EMPIRE TRUCK REPAIR & SALES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines to prepare metal for welding.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
