Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Hub City Motors and Equipment Ltd is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including adjustments and replacements of parts and components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the trade
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability
