Job Description

At Mercer, we're committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals. As a Client Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting our investment consultants in overseeing the transition of our clients into our Mercer Delegated DC solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate client transitions to new record keepers
  • Act as primary contact for clients, Mercer, and record keepers during transitions
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and notes
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Partner with consultants and record keepers to set client expectations
  • Manage non-standard operational issues
  • Meet with record keepers to review issues and concerns
  • Prepare initial employee communication for implementations
  • Review implementation timelines and employee communication
  • Maintain accountability for project tasks and provide guidance to team members
  • Review contracts issued by record keepers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Strong project management skills, including accuracy, accountability, and focus on results
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Relevant experience in client transition, client management, investment consulting, or financial services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DC administration and transition business
  • Knowledge of pension legislation
