Job Title: Bodywork Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bodywork Therapist to join our team at Arokaya Healing Wellness Centre Ltd. As a Bodywork Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
  • Maintain records of treatments given
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods
