About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Architect to join our team at Huawei.

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $210,000, depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop enhancements to graphics APIs (Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenGL|ES, webGL, webGPU, etc.) to advance feature sets and improve runtime performance on Huawei devices.
  • Collaborate with Huawei teams to propose and implement graphics API standards.
  • Interface with product teams to design and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of graphics APIs and ability to propose enhancements.
  • 3+ years of experience in Khronos/W3C standard activities.
  • Experience with computer graphics, GPU computing, parallel/distributed computing, and machine learning technologies.
  • Good publication record in top journals and conferences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
