We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As an OB-GYN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to women throughout their lives, from routine check-ups to complex surgical procedures.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in a private practice setting, located in a rural area. You will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and bend, crouch, or kneel.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders related to women's health
  • Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
  • Supervise surgical procedures and provide guidance to other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Specialty residency training in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Immunization records and criminal record check
