Job Summary

The Master Space Planner Professional plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of space occupied by assigned clients. This includes developing strategic occupancy plans and forecasts, as well as identifying options to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Baseline existing facilities to determine square footage and lease terms.
  • Identify priority needs or planned changes, relocation, or renewals to achieve client business objectives.
  • Prioritize and plan in alignment with overall occupancy and space standards.
  • Develop short- and long-range facility utilization plans, including space forecasting and allocation.
  • Create 'What If' scenario planning, portfolio modeling, and 3D renderings.
Occupancy Planning & Analysis
  • Analyze CAFM system outputs and evaluate current space usage in relation to cost, standards, and strategic drivers.
  • Prepare studies and reports outlining facilities plans for consultation and recommendation.
  • Ensure timely project- and administrative-related reporting and systems inputs.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for significant cost savings and make recommendations.
  • Liaise with BGIS divisions and the client group to implement approved plans and changes.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and successful delivery of space planning needs.
Requirements
  • Software proficiency: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CAFM, Sketchup, etc.
  • Ability to create 3D renderings and visualizations.
  • Experience in facilities office planning and real estate knowledge.
  • Knowledge of leasing structures, project management, design, and construction.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Estimate

$65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
