The Development Director will play a key role in driving the overall execution of the Institutional Giving portfolio for the ROME GROUP. This includes developing strategies to grow Foundation and Corporate dollars and numbers of donors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving fundraising goals through persuasive grant/proposal writing and successful moves management.
Key responsibilities include managing a personal portfolio and providing support for director portfolios of Foundation and Corporate donors, identifying, qualifying/researching, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding Foundation and Corporate donors, and serving as one of the Festival's external representatives. The ideal candidate will also have experience in grant writing and reporting for Foundation, Government and Corporate portfolio, including preparing high-quality LOIs, concept papers, proposals, budgets, and reports that are tailored to each funder based on their priorities and requirements.
