At Rafael Ramirez, we're seeking a skilled Concrete Construction Specialist to join our team. As a Concrete Construction Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Construction Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of tasks related to concrete construction, including filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, preparing tenders and quotations, and operating power vibrators to compact concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Preparing tenders and quotations
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Operating CADD and other computer software systems
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Work Environment:

The Concrete Construction Specialist will work on-site, with the ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete construction
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
