About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Park Plaza Fitness & Rec Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and provide change as needed.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Sales and Promotions: Participate in sales and promotional events, and assist with setting up and maintaining displays.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
