We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator Building Services to join our team. As a key member of our Planning and Building Services section, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that building applications are processed in a timely and efficient manner, while also overseeing the performance of our pool barrier inspection program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Building Services section.
  • Assess and process building applications in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the performance of the pool barrier inspection program.
  • Supervise and mentor the Technical Officer – Swimming Pools and Aquatic Facilities.
  • Support cross-functional teams within the Development and Community Directorate.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Building Surveying or related field.
  • Current WA driver's license and registration as a Level 2 Building Surveying Practitioner.
  • White Card (Basic Construction Industry Induction).
  • Minimum three years' experience in building surveying or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
