Job Description:

As a Senior Project Manager with Agilus Work Solutions, you will lead the total project delivery of planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety, quality, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, set objectives, and control activities during the construction phase of a project in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Team.
  • Supervise and develop project team members through regular feedback, training, and coaching, as well as timely completion of performance evaluations.
  • Manage project budget and billings, working with accounting to ensure timely payment of A/R and A/P.
  • Administer and manage prime contracts and subcontracts, including negotiation and awarding of subcontracts for scopes of work, as well as review and evaluation of subcontractor performance.
  • Review and analyze costs, identifying revenue opportunities.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on financial and overall performance of projects to Senior Management.
  • Provide safety leadership through implementation of the company Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of project teams and subcontractors.
  • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and develop project team members.
  • Manage project budget and billings.
Requirements:
  • Completed education in a construction-related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in General Contracting direct project management of large institutional, commercial, or industrial projects ($50+ Million) through various construction methods and delivery models.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, supporting a collaborative approach to delivering results and developing team members.
  • Service- and results-oriented, able to build and steward trust with a broad network of professional colleagues, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Demonstrated competence in areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality, and administration.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project experience with Viewpoint Project Management system considered an asset.
