Job Title: Auto Body Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at Craftsman Collision. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review damage reports and estimates to plan work to be performed
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

Requirements:

  • Red Seal certification or foreign equivalency to be eligible for Red Seal
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • At least 4 years of experience
