Optical Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at FYidoctors. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance to clients on eyewear choices, ensuring they receive the best value and quality for their lifestyle.
- Inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with the selection of frames to suit their aesthetic and performance needs.
- Interpret optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
- Place Contact Lens orders and assist with fittings, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients in person, via phone, and through billing and payment processes.
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients as they enter our clinic, upholding exceptional customer service standards.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment is preferred.
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset.
- Passionate about customer service and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to patients.
