We are seeking a Dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cha House Park Place Mall. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with a work term of 30-40 hours per week. You will be working closely with our experienced kitchen team to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients and cooking meals to order
- Portioning and wrapping food items for serving
- Serving customers at counters or buffet tables
- Stocking refrigerators and salad bars
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Removing kitchen garbage and trash
You will also be responsible for taking customer orders, receiving payment, and handling cash transactions. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential qualities for this role.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
