We are seeking a skilled Strategic M&E Advisor to join our team in Iringa, Tanzania. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, with a strong background in project management and excellent communication skills.

As the Strategic M&E Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive M&E plans, creating data collection tools, and providing capacity building to SIDO & BSBI staff on Monitoring and Evaluation.

You will also conduct regular visits to field sites, collaborate with government stakeholders and local partners, and produce high-quality MEAL reports. Your expertise in women and youth empowerment projects, facilitation and training skills, and experience in MS Office will be invaluable assets to our team.

This placement offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of marginalized communities in Tanzania. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to advancing gender equality and social inclusion.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. This includes a modest monthly living allowance, accommodation while in placement, medical health insurance, round-trip airfare and visa/work permit costs, pre-placement training, and reintegration debriefing.

The estimated salary range reflects the cost of living in Iringa, Tanzania, and is comparable to similar positions in the region. We strive to provide a fair and equitable compensation package that recognizes the value of our volunteers' contributions.

This role requires you to fundraise $2,000 as part of your commitment to Cuso International. However, if you are unable to meet this goal, we offer flexible fundraising options, including a one-time donation or becoming a monthly donor.

We commit to helping you prepare for your placement through our Volunteering Mobilization Advisor (VMA) and Skills and Knowledge for Working in Development (SKWID) training programs.
