About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Out of School Care Worker to join our team at Duclos School. The successful candidate will work in a flexible, casual capacity, covering before and/or after school shifts Monday to Friday. The primary responsibility of this role will be to plan and implement engaging activities for school-aged children in a constructive and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement activities for school-aged children in a constructive and caring environment.
- Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging space for children to learn and grow.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our out-of-school care program.
- Provide high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in childcare and related areas.
Requirements:
- Early Learning and Child Care Certification - Minimum Level 1 Child Development Assistant (training available).
- First Aid Certification.
- Experience/training in childcare and related fields.
- A sincere desire to work with preschool and elementary age children.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
