Job Opportunity: Long-Term Occasional Teaching Position

About the Role: We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional teaching position in a non-classroom setting, focusing on French as a Second Language (FSL) and Preparation (PDT) duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach FSL and PDT courses to students in a non-classroom setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • French as a Second Language Part 1, Primary, Junior qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
