Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Firehouse Subs - Moncton. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the restaurant team to ensure superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Prepare schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure the restaurant is properly staffed.
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and ensure product availability.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members and ensure daily prep is completed in a timely manner.
  • Measure and evaluate performance standards (KPIs) and develop plans for continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed.
  • Handle guest problems and complaints in an efficient and positive manner.
  • Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
  • Be accountable for the continuous training and development of the restaurant team.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience or 2+ years in a supervisory role in a restaurant environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude, be ready and willing to manage the team and serve customers every day with a smile.
  • Be able to hire, train, and motivate a high-performance team.
  • Understand and be able to manage food and labor costs.
  • Understand a Profit and Loss Statement and operate the restaurant at maximum profitability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Leadership skills – able to direct, coach, and supervise a team.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
