About Us: Lotus Indian Cuisine & Bar is a renowned restaurant serving authentic East Indian cuisine. We are seeking an experienced chef to join our team.


Job Summary:



  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced chef to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure high-quality cuisine is served to our customers.

Requirements:


  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of East Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Ability to manage inventory and supplies.
