About the Role:

FYidoctors is seeking a skilled Optical Associate to join our team. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, educating them about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, and ensuring they receive the best in value and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients about corrective eyewear solutions and assist with frame selection to suit their aesthetic and performance needs.
  • Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear.
  • Submit prescription eyewear requisitions to manufacturing labs and perform repairs and adjustments to patients' eyewear.
  • Contribute to store retail sales goals and maintain a positive, supportive environment where all our people can thrive and grow professionally and personally.

Requirements:

  • Customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care is beneficial but not essential.
  • Professional and approachable manner, with a love of meeting and interacting with people.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have a high level of comfort using technology and computers.
