Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks to ensure seamless connectivity and data transfer.
  • Install and maintain web server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Supervise technical staff to ensure efficient and effective team operations.
