We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at a construction company based in Sainte-Sophie.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in managing the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the accounting cycle for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Produce GST/QST and other government remittances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Complete month-ends and year-ends.
  • Produce, analyze and present financial statements.
  • Perform accounting analyses in terms of profitability, variances and variances.
  • Manage project accounting.
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Implement process improvements and internal controls.
Requirements:
  • DEC, DEP or BAC in accounting.
  • Experience in accounting or related field.
  • Bilingualism: French and English (Asset).
  • Dynamic.
  • Proactive.
  • Versatile.
  • More than 5 years' experience in the accounting field.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary between $65,000 and $90,000 depending on experience.
  • A flexible schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Group insurance covered at 50% by the employer: medication, vision and dental.
  • Number of vacation weeks to be discussed depending on experience.
