Job Overview

Pick-n-Pull Auto and Truck Dismantlers seeks a highly skilled Automotive Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring vehicles for our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid on and purchase non-private party vehicles from outside vendors and auctions.
  • Work with towing vendors to deliver vehicles to the correct sites.
  • Ensure proper payment for newly purchased vehicles.
  • Review pricing and negotiate with vendors to ensure fair prices.
  • Identify new avenues for vehicle procurement and develop relationships with local businesses.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in automotive procurement or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of vehicle types, makes, and approximate values is essential.
  • A two-year degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to operate a computer with exposure to Outlook and internet applications.
  • Must be able to travel and drive long distances.
  • Must own a valid driver's license and have adequate insurance coverage.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor shop environment with moderate noise levels.
