Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, cloud computing, and architecture design. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Architecture Design: Develop comprehensive data architectures that align with business requirements, including data models, storage solutions, data pipelines, and analytics frameworks on the Azure platform.
  • Cloud-Based Solution Development: Design and implement cloud-based solutions for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, and more.
  • ETL/ELT Process Management: Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows, ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory or similar tools to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Design and enforce data access controls, encryption, masking, and other security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data management strategies, including data retention, archiving, and backup solutions. Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: 7 to 10 years of experience as an Architect in data Analytics domain, with expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
  • Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud data services, including Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Server Data Warehouse, and Azure SQL Server db.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Python, Spark, and other relevant technologies.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with experience in guiding teams and mentoring junior staff members.
