Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them to the highest standard.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine weldability of materials and ensure that they meet the required standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
