Job Title: Land Survey Technician

VistaCare Communications Services of Canada Inc is seeking a skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Land Survey Technician to conduct field surveys, operate survey instruments, and collect data using GPS equipment. The successful candidate will prepare detailed drawings, charts, and plans, and record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field surveys and operate survey instruments to measure distance, angles, elevations, and contours.
  • Determine precise geographic locations using GPS equipment.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, charts, and plans, and survey notes and reports.
  • Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) experience.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • MS Excel experience.
  • MS Outlook experience.
  • MS PowerPoint experience.
  • MS Windows experience.
  • MS Word experience.
