Dexter Construction Company Limited is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking Project Coordinator Co-op/Summer Students for 8-month work terms beginning in May.
About the Role:
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Company projects. This includes managing job plans, drawings, and specifications, as well as acquiring project resources and supervising the efforts of project team members.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage job plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Acquire project resources, including materials and personnel, to support project execution.
- Supervise the efforts of project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Working towards Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience or solid knowledge of Heavy Civil Construction.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Ability to work as part of a construction team.
- Ability to travel to support various projects.
- High attention to detail.
- Utilizes strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point, Outlook).
