About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team at M&P Truck & Trailer Repairs Inc. As a key member of our collision repair team, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, planning repair work, and ensuring high-quality repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Repair Costs: Accurately assess damage and estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports.
  • Plan Repair Work: Develop and implement repair plans to ensure efficient and effective completion of repairs.
  • Perform Repairs: Use specialized equipment and techniques to repair or replace damaged body components, including front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components.
  • Prepare Surfaces for Painting: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Repair or replace damaged interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Use frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team setting. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality repairs are completed efficiently.

Personal Qualities and Experience
  • Accurate and Detail-Oriented: Ensure accurate estimates and repair plans are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure high-quality repairs meet customer expectations.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective completion of repairs.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in auto body repair or a related field.

Language and Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
