About the Role

CIMA+ is seeking a talented future engineer and leader to join our team as an infrastructure intern. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in the design and preparation of plans and specifications for condition assessment and rehabilitation projects, linear infrastructure, municipal engineering, and site development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in the engineering design and preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Participate in the realization of studies or technical reports.
  • Support in Project & Utilities Coordination.
  • Assist in completing design activities, calculations, engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory applications throughout the projects.
  • Assist Project Managers in project control and project administration throughout the projects.
  • Using advanced computer software and technologies support in design and engineering drawings production.
  • Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis.
  • Assume responsibility for compliance with the quality assurance system.
  • Conduct site inspections as required to monitor construction progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree student in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of software: MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD (an asset), Civil 3D (an asset), Microstation (an asset), and InRoads (an asset).
  • Good communication and writing skills.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $00 per hour, depending on your academic program, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
